Yesterday, the Board of CAdFE met his excellency Mr. Emmanuel Mignot, the newly appointed French Ambassador in Estonia and Ms. Louise Dubrulle, the newly appointed economic attaché.

This lunch meeting was a great opportunity to discuss how to further develop trade and business relationships between Estonia and France, and the broader francophone world. The discussion was warm and constructive and covered many interesting topics. The themes were various including business, defense, culture, and sports.
Biography of Mr. Emmanuel MIGNOT, French Ambassador to Estonia.
After studying political science, international relations, economics, and Turkish (Institut d'études des relations internationales, ILERI; the University of Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, London School of Economics and the University of Ankara), Mr Emmanuel Mignot was accepted into the Orient competition of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in March 2000.
He was assigned for two years to the Strategic Affairs Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in charge of sensitive issues related to nuclear energy (2000-2002). He then worked on issues of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery (2002-2004). From 2004 to 2007 he was posted at the French Embassy in Berlin as first secretary. From May 2007 until 2009, he was the adviser in charge of strategic affairs to the Prime Minister. He then became First Counselor at the French Embassy in Mexico City. In 2012 he was seconded to AREVA as Director of European and International Affairs. In 2015, he took up the post of Deputy Permanent Representative of France to NATO. In 2020, he was appointed diplomatic adviser to the Chief of the French Armed Forces.
Since July 30, 2023, he has been Ambassador of France to the Republic of Estonia.

Biography of Ms Louise Dubrulle Economic attaché at the French Embassy of Estonia.
Louise has studied at Emlyon Business School and Sciences-Po Lyon. She has gained professional experience in geopolitics, defence, security, and economy. She successively worked for the Ministry of Defence, the United Nations, BPI France, and the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs.
